We arrived at the apartments 3 hours later than expected and our room was not ready and then were informed by the staff in the restuarant that they never served food at that time (2pm). The lady on reception was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were better than I expected, clean and spacious. The bathroom was a bit naff but it did us for a week. What I did find is that all of the balconies face onto the pool area so if anyone is talking close by it feels like they are in the next room. Be aware that this is NOT a hotel purely for couples and families but for young same sex groups too. We found it quite noisy at times and also when our neighbours came in late, you could hear everything that they said. We are not old ourselves but when you are trying to have a siesta its a bit annoying. The pool area is nice but the pool is freezing cold. Disappointed that we did not have clean towels every day or at least the bin emptied and do not expect to cook a gormet meal with the facilities.... Overall reasonably pleased for what we paid.

I go to Ibiza every summer to go clubbing and usually stay in San Antonio, but for a change we thought we would stay in a different part of the island. San An is a great location for the clubs, but we were tiring a little from all the drunken yobs running up and down the corridors, leaping into the swimming pools in the middle of the night and generally being annoying (they call it getting older I think!) The Ebano Apartments are much nicer compared to those in San An (for less money), very clean, the reception area is immuculate, a lovely large swimming pool with lots of sun loungers (if you aren't lucky enough to get one, then there's plenty of space to lie on a lilo!) We requested a room on a high floor and we got one with a large balcony overlooking the swimming pool. The view was amazing - lots of palm trees around the pool. The bar area serves a good selection of snacks. There is a pool table and one of those grabber machines that you can win soft toys - have a go - it's really easy! We took about 10 toys home from not many goes! You get plenty of time, move the grabber back then look in from the side to make sure it's in the right place! The location of the apartments was good, not far at all from the shops, restaurants etc and about a 10 minute walk from the beach. There is a lovely sports cafe just around the corner from KFC (turn left just past it and its on the right hand side). It is decked out completely in football memorabilia and shows Eastenders English TV every night. If you are going - take something from your local team and they will put it up for you! The only thing is with the resort in general, to get anywhere, you have to get the bus to Ibiza town, then a connecting bus from there - you can't get anywhere directly from Playa d'en Bossa. When we did go clubbing in San An or Amnesia, it took about 2 hours each way door to door by the time you had waited for buses etc. Don't eat at the chicken place just around the corner - looks like a chicken fast food place - the food is digusting and they don't speak English. We took a couple of mouthfuls and left! The bars etc. do close fairly early, which we aren't used to, so it can get a little boring in the evenings if you are staying more than a week, but Cocos is open late and is great. Buy any club tickets from them (Cream etc.) - they offer a discounted rate and free bus to the club. The guys that work there stop and chat to people outside - they are lovely, don't walk past them when they leap out - stop and speak to them! Although we don't have kids, this is a good resort for them - an entertainer that plays pool games in the afternoon and discos, karaokes for them in the evening, but not too over the top or intrusive for everyone else. Overall, we were really impressed with the apartments, standard of cleanliness, equipment, pool and would definitely return here rather than any of the dumps in San An, even though the travelling was a bit of a pain.

First time at the ebano apartments, family of four, husband, wife, daughter and grandaughter. Accommodation was basic but clean, the staff were very friendly and helpfull. Jack the hotel entertainer was excellent, he looked after the children and adults, was always there to entertain. The apartments were ideal as a base, we hired a car for a few days and explored the island. We went to the ebano during the first week of october, the weather was beginning to change for the worse, we were lucky we had more sunny days than bad ones. There was a good variety of family entertainment most nights, which we all enjoyed and participated in. Regards to all, Alf & Jean (Anne Robinson look a like).

My friend and I took our kids on holiday on the very first week of the season here. The apartments were basic (but what can you ask for when you get a holiday so cheap?), but they were clean. We had a few teething problems like the maids left there lunch in our fridge and the my travel rep wasn't all that, but the hotel staff were brillant and tried there best to sort out any problems which were to be expected on the opening week. The bar staff were fantastic and really friendly. The food was the nicest we could find, and Jack the entertainer was fantastic!! Everyone from kids to adults loved him. He brought the place to life. Thanks Jack for making our holiday 1 in a million.

This was our first time in Ibiza and we booked it as a last minute deal so we were wary at what to expect. The apartments and the complex were immaculate and cleaned regularly. The staff were very friendly. A five minute walk from the beach and bars makes it an ideal base. We walked into Ibiza town along the beach, up to the church and through the town then took the water bus back an excellent day. We also booked the SAFARI trip, highly recommended. They take you by 4x4 to the outermost parts of the island, the driver (Clemence) was very imfomative and entertaining. We had lunch and then on for some fun off roading. Though not for the fainthearted it was by far our best day. (dont bother doing your hair that morning). We booked this from the apartments. Now for the downside. We came as a couple, but found the ebano was very childfriendly and catered daily for the kid's with clubs and competitions, excellent if we'd brought the kids. The only other comlaint was that our room was right above the bar/restaurant/entertainment area and facing the main road. Very noisy. We did ask to be moved but the place was fully booked. We grew used to this very quickly and it did not spoil our stay there. The one mistake we made was booking an overnight flight. We were put out of our room at 12 noon but were not picked up from the Ebano till 2am. This was awful, although a courtesy room was provided for a shower later in the day, this has to be booked and you only have 1/2hr per family.

I have just returned from a fortnight at the Ebano Apartment complex. We stayed there for a week in August 2004 and enjoyed it so much that we decided to return again this year. The location of these apartments is perfect - only a few mins walk from all the bars, clubs and shops but far enough away to ensure a restful, quiet night if that's what you prefer. The complex is certainly one of the most attractive looking in the area, from the outside. Rooms are basic but clean and the maid service is pretty regular. My only complaint would be the lack of decent "self catering" facilities. Cutlery and pots/pans are pretty old and grubby - I only used them once - decided just to eat out after that. The food on offer at the complex restaurant is the usual holiday fare - toasties, chips, burgers etc. We only ate there a couple of times because, to be honest, it was all a bit greasy and not that appetising (even the toasties appeared to have been deep fried!) and furthermore, there was only one person working in the kitchen which meant that orders were processed one by one and VERY slowly!! We once waited 55 MINUTES for 2 toasties!!! Food aside, however, this is a lovely place to stay and the staff are superb - very friendly and helpful!! The entertainer, Gary, has loads of activities on offer every day and night, with something to suit all ages. He's pretty unobtrusive though, which is good, cause you never feel pressured into taking part in his activities. We never really came to Ibiza to hang about the apartment complex in the evenings, so i can't comment on his activites then, but all of the families who did stay were certainly very happy with what he provided -a really happy, friendly atmosphere between folk staying at the apartments. There's lots to do in Playa D'en Bossa but it is very touristy. Murphy's Irish Bar at the Jet Apartments complex is a great night out, plus it's air-conditioned which makes for a much more comfortable evening!! Avoid Big Ben's like the Plague - a very CHEESY Brit Bar with no atmosphere. We went one night to see the "Hypnotist", Andy Fields - what a joke!! It was cringeworthy!! Get the water taxi over to Ibiza town for a great night out!! Much more cosmopolitan and vibrant, with street entertainers, markets, bars and cafes!! Thursday evenings there's a fruit / veg market in the square - def worth a visit! If you go during the day, however, it's much quieter - you really have to go in the evening to appreciate this enchanting town! Basically, Playa D'en Bossa, and the Ebano Apartments in particular, is a great base, BUT.... if you want to appreciate the real Ibiza, get out there and investigate! It's a beautiful island with a lot to offer!

Hola I have just returned from a weeks' break (10th till the 18th October 2004) at these apartments and found them to be absolutely gorgeous. The staff were all brilliant and very polite, helpful and very friendly. (this includes the cleaners !!!) **One night watchman, (the early shift) who is retiring this year is especially friendly - always singing and speaking to you - he always has a smile and a nice thing to say no matter what state your in!!! - Best wishes for your retirement The weather was brilliant when we were there, apparently it's warmer now than it was in August! there but we did not feel that our room needed air con as it was still very comfortable. I think the only comments I can offer is to watch the pool....... haha - it'is freezing!!!! but gives you no end of enjoyment watching people dive in and come up gasping for air as they realise just how cold it actually is (Maybe I'm just a sicko, but it is funny!) So - a little heating could be added to the pool water! The other thing is that the cutlery and pots in our apartment were in a pretty grotty state - I couldnt bring myself to use a few things and ended up having to go out and buy some good/strong cleaning stuff to try and clean them up a bit! but other than that - the apartment was fantastic and our balcony looked onto the lovely gardens which had an olive tree as well as all the gorgeous Palm trees surrounding the pool. The food is brilliant in the apartment complex and it is always clean and tidy. All in all this resort was great (it was pretty quiet as it is the end of the season but still had entertainment for all the family) and the local restaurants were good - especially the Deutsh (sorry about the spelling - not sure how it was spelt!) cafe just round the corner from the apartments - very reasonable and the staff and food were great! Big Ben's Pub was great for entertainment - something different on every night - recommended!!! You can also catch a bus from outside the Pharmacy on the main street into Evissa for only 1.10 euro, where you can then catch another bus to anywhere else on the island OR you can get the sea taxi which is also a very good way to get about. I would definately recommend this resort to anyone although I cant say how lively it would be in High Season. Have fun - Adios Pam xXx

Hi there, well Aug 2005 was the second time we stayed at Ebano. First was the year before in June also for two weeks. We loved this place, the bar staff are really brilliant and we met some really good people while we were there - other holidaymakers i mean, which really made our holiday. Pretty basic accomodation although sure you only have a room to get your head down and get showered, we ate very little in the apartment because the food in the restaurant was BRILLIANT - every mealtime was a treat, breakfast was excellent also, brilliant value for all the family. The service from the three barmen is second to none and they really make you feel welcome. We requested a ground floor room but was given a 1st floor one instead, we immediately were changed to our original request without a bother. Loved this holiday with shops close by but far enough away from the Nightclubs although they were there if you wanted to go to them. Eating out in general was very cheap with lot of places to chose from. We went on a few excursions which added to the fun of our holiday.CANNOT WAIT TO RETURN!!!

The appartments are basic, but you only sleep in them, they were clean. Only teething problem we had is that the room was not ready when we booked in, it was lucky that we arrived at lunch time and not the middle of the night, so we were able to get some thing to eat while we waited. Because we had children with us we a ground floor room, which over looked the pool, as being able to keep an eye on the kids. The entertainer Jack was excellent, the time he spent with the kids during the day, whether it was sunny around the pool, or raining so having to be indoors was great. Jack knows every bodies name from the time he meets you, he even gets the adults involved around the pool during the day, playing water polo etc. During the eveing the kids loved the mini disco & are still dancing to their cd's now. The adult entertainment was fab as well. After Jack finishes at night he comes round and has a drink with you talking and getting to know you more and even on some nights when the kids are tucked up (with a baby sitter) he will go out and socialise with you showing you around playa den bossa. I find the personal touch from things like this makes me want to go back year after year..... well done Jack you make that place rock.
