This hotel is a really nice place to stay. It is pretty far from the Hippie market, you would most likely have to take a taxi to get there. It was right next to a marina where there are plenty of shops and a few places to eat and the beautiful Talamanca Beach.

What a wonderful hotel, absolutely beautiful, staff are friendly, breakfast is wonderful and again the staff are very helpful. The rooms are a reasonable size, cleaned daily with new sheets and towels and the views are lovely. The beach is unspoilt and very uncrowded which is a bonus. The pool is clean and a great size, it can however, get very busy on sunny days. Local restaurants (further up the beach) are lovely and very reasonably priced. Also a short walk from Pacha for those who like clubbing. Great boat service to Ibiza town for under 2 Euros per person that runs all night. All in all a great place to stay and a nice quiet location to relax in.

This is probably one of the most basic hotels I have ever stayed in. The good: Free Internet, Water Views, Pool. The bad: Location (this hotel is far from everything), beds were rock hard, pool gets locked at night, hotel isn't responsible to theft from rooms (they rent you a tiny safe) and hotel staff was not friendly at all. The only thing you get for your money is a very basic place to sleep. I highly recommend staying someplace else. This hotel was not a good value for our money.

This is a great hotel in a superb location. The staff is wonderful and very accomodating. The breakfast is very good and has variety. The rooms are spotless and of decent size. This location in Talamanca is walking location to the marina and there are many great places to eat close by. The only down side to our stay was the location of our room under the dining room. Since we did wake until 2pm daily the noise of the tables and chairs scratching across the floor over our heads was very annoying! Ask for a room with a view of the bay but not under the dining area! The great places to eat is Talamanca Club right on the sand with the BEST pizza and good prices. The staff is a real kick. It has a Pacha flag flying overhead and is easy to find. The other place is Cafe Sydney and the manager Kerry is fantastic at helping you decide what to order and take good care of you. Also Madrigal on the Marina is excellent!

The Hotel Argos is tucked away on a quiet inlet on the Spanish Isle of Ibiza - Talamanca. This is a friendly, peaceful hotel miles away from the "yob " image often associated with this beautiul island. Outstanding views across the bay towards the hills in the distance, an indoor, heated pool or the rare occasion when the weather isn´t what you wanted and fantastic food.Believe me, you will go home on the aircraft as excess baggage!

Visited this hotel in july and discovered a jewel in the white Isle.Rooms clean and comfortable with frigde tv and large bathroom mirror.our friends enjoyed their balcony space to relax after a hard day in the bay.Food fantastic with excellent wine at a cheap price.Hotel staff superb and helpful.Local shop across from hotel sold great red wine and beach toys.MUST use the water taxi to ibiza town and formentera which is only 5mins walk away. Not a bad thing to stay about hotel.Free pool towels exellent.

I chose this hotel mainly because of it's location in Talamanca, as well as for some favorable reviews. The Ibiza town is accessible by the water taxi (with a terrific view during the ride), while I could reach any other location in Ibiza by car without spending time in city traffic. The hotel is located directly on the Talamanca beach, however I didn't like this beach at all, because it was too shallow and the water not clear. I booked a single room for 4 nights with half board for 93EUR per night. Had to book with Thomas Cook, since no rooms were available directly from the hotel. During the check-in they took away my identity card "for registering with police" and refused to return it for over an hour. The reason was probably that I had a "temporary" German identity card that looks different from a regular one, but I didn't have any trouble in other Spanish hotels with it. A big thumbs down on this one. I booked a room with land view, expecting a view towards the hills, but the only view I got was that of a supermarket across the street in a newly built residential block not shown on any of the hotel photos I saw! The room was also tiny and appeared worn. The aircondition only works when you are in the room and insert the keycard into the slot. The keycard was attached to a conventional room key used to unlock the door (and the lock didn't always work well). The shabby room was in sharp contrast to the very nice public areas in this hotel. I got a glimpse into seaview rooms opened by the cleaning personnel, and they looked much more spacious and very nice. The breakfast selection was very good, with a lot of cold and warm choices. The breakfast didn't start before 8:00am, which meant I had to skip breakfast on my last day, when I had to go to the airport early. The buffet dinner was also very good, however they refused to serve coffee after dinner telling me to go to the bar. This is probably to prevent guests from eating too many pastries, as I also encountered this in other hotels on Baleares! The hotel offered a pool and some other facilities, but I haven't used these, since I spent the whole time outside exploring the island. The hotel has a parking lot and advertises this on it's homepage, however it is rather small, and sometimes it is difficult to find a place to park. Still, it is better than most other hotels in the area are offering. The personnel was helpful, but not friendly. Overall I am disappointed with the hotel and would not want to stay here again. I expected a nice room and nothing more, and everything was nice except for the room. However, there are not many hotels in Talamanca with a parking lot, so if I had no other choice, I would probably book a sea view double room for single use next time. Beware that land view rooms have no view at all, because of the new development across the street from the hotel.

We have just come back from staying 4 days at the Argos Hotel. Not a bad location considering you can get the taxi boat to Ibiza Town. After the first night our room was not made up which is pretty shabby considering it is supposed to be a four star. I would say it is more of a 3 star, quite outdated however the view from the room was nice. The breakfast was very average and boring and we did not even attempt the evening meal. The hotel would have been ok if it was not for the staff! We found the reception staff very moody and obviously did not want to be there. I have to say this is the only place i have ever found this. They looked at you as if to say what do you want! By the end of it we found it quite funny! They offered us no help with anything and when asked if there was a shower room the guy looked at us in disgust. When we were leaving they did not even say goodbye. They asked what room we were and asked if we had anything from the mini bar to which we said water, he said 2 euro and then sat down. So pretty rude! So pretty average all round really!!! Never again though!
