+ Actually enjoyed the distance from city centre, as it was peaceful, near lots of parks & an enjoyable hours walk along the beachfront. - The housekeeper accidently collected an item of clothing when cleaning, which was never returned even when mentioned to reception & the receptionist was very blasé at trying to do anything about it.

We wanted a hotel not far from the cruise port, since we would be going on a Mediterranean cruise the next day. The service was good, and the room was very modern and comfortable. It was located on a quiet street in a residential neighborhood, but walking distance to services. We walked to a nearby mall where we had dinner and shopped a little.

Very impressed This was an excellent hotel, within 2 mins of a metro station. Clean and very modern rooms. Would definatley recommend this hotel and we will use this hotel and this company again.

Nice rooms, good service, near great mall The Hotel had very modern rooms and excellent service. I was there to attend a convention, a short walk to the Convention Center, cutting through a sculpture garden and a shopping mall if you want. The nearby Mall is a plus, as I was able to get some fresh fruit, a SIM card and new shirt at 9:30 pm in one stop. If you miss American junk food, the Mall has the best MickeyD’s I have eaten anywhere. Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks Definitely get a Spanish SIM card for your GSM, even if you have roaming. There are cards available at the shopping mall 1/2 block away. cell phone. Also, eat at locals restaurants, I never had a bad meal in Barcelona.

GREAT STAY - impressed! T10 travel cards good but runs out quickly.Instead use a 2day unlimited travel card only 10euros(5day also available). For sightseeing the tour bus is great,so easy to use.Can get off and jump on at any stop and there are so many stops.Opentop bus comes about every 4mins. Great way to see all the sights. 2day pass 26euros,1day pass 20euros.2day pass worthwhile! In gift shops on Ramble always ask what best price they can offer you as they tend to knock atleast 2/5 Euros off prices.

Good business choice Although the hotel is not in the city/touristic center it is near the Convention Center and offers excellent access to public transportation: metro, bus and tram. Internet access is excellent, albeit expensive. Traveler's tip on shopping The nearby mall, the Diagonal Mar, has an outstanding supermarket with wine/beer/liquor store and several outdoor restaurants.

+ Extremely impressed with the quality of the hotel considering the low cost we paid for it... i will definitely use the site again.. the hotel was abosolutely gorgeous
