The Perfect Place

Barceloneta was originated a little over 250 years ago when some of the reclaimed land from the sea.. Since the Olympic Games in 1992, this quarter is a very nice place to live as it was completely renovated. All of the streets here cross in a rectangular style, which is a very unusual design in European town planning. The whole district is built in a rather modern and very functional fashion. The quarter is very famous for its little restaurants where you can get excellent seafood. Interesting places to see in this area include: el Museu d’Història de Catalunya, the beach and, of course, el Port Olímpic.
