+ the location, the subway is 5 minutes away - There was no way to turn off the air conditioning (centrally controlled), room was tiny

+ Excellent location near metro (200m); very clean room; friendly and helpful staff (e.g. booking a taxi); excellent view from the roof terrace - i liked the whole thing

Very nice hotel, close to the city center. I'd give more than just the 2 stars which the hotel has (at least 3). Only the general heater is pretty loud everything else is perfect and the little bathroom with shower even provides a little tub. Would definitly stay there again, especially if it stays that cheap regarding the price.

+ The reception staff were very helpful - Price. For this price the service and room size should be better.

Located in a nice quiet area, within easy reach from the Sants railway station. Very welcomin staff. Rooms are not too spacious, but were enough for the 2 of us to move around.

There was a problem with the JUNIOR Hotel (2*), so we stayed in the ALSTON Hotel (3*), both in the same location. What seemed to be a great thing, was not in part: the first night, the A/C was turned off. The room became very hot and it was hard to sleep. The next day I was told that it was normal, from midnight to 09:00am. So, they offered another room with individual A/C control. It was ok! In the last night, the water was not hot enough to take a good shower... We don´t even want to know why! The rest was ok, location, near to metro station and 3 blocks from the turistic bus station!

+ Great room at reasonable price - Window of hotel room doesn't close well + street is very noisy --> remember to take ear plugs with you!!! + airco cannot be turned on/off inside the room (always on at night and off during the day) + swimming pool icy co
