Not impressed We stayed on the fifth floor which had no windows - only 2 skylights. Felt a bit claustrophobic. The shower pressure was terrible. I had to stand there 3 times as long as usual to get the suds out. The nearby church bells rang LOUDLY on the hour, all night. The best part of the hotel was it’s location right next to the subway stop.

Great location Great location at Juame metro and very close to cathedral and palace. Las Ramblas is a longer walk but doable. Bed was a little hard and staff were not as helpful as I would have liked. We had questions about metro and sights and the assistance was minimal.

If I go back, I will stay at Hotel Suizo Great location. In front of the hotel is JaumeI metro entrance. The people at the front desk were very nice. The room was clean and confortable with a balcony to the street. Good air conditioning. In another words great hotel and excellent service. Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay From Hotel Suizo you can walk without trouble, get the metro in fron of the hotel. Close to the restaurants. Walk to the beach.

great location and friendly atmosphere the hotel has a perfect location for sightseeing. just in front of the Jaume metro station entrance, 15mins walk to the sea and la ramble. lots of cosy cafes in the neigbourhood. just in the hstorical centre of BCN. it’s an old building so don’t expect too much, nevertheless it’s clean, stuff is friendly and the overall condition is great for that price! go for it!

Location, location, location We had stayed at this hotel in 2001. It is located in the Gothic area, good underground stop, many places to eat. It is the most reasonably priced hotel in its class in the area. The desk staff was helpful although at times not as knowledgable as we would have liked. Would definitely stay there again. The hotel will be completely redone in 2-3 years. Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay Purchase a ten trip pass for the metro. Visit the Gaudi sites, the Picasso museum, furnicular, Montserrat--it goes everywhere. Try the Plaza Real for many reasonable places to eat. One has a very long line. Do not give up on it.
