+ Quiet area but still close to the city centre. not much traffic. plain but okay rooms. - Not much isolation between rooms or floors. you can clearly hear what your neighbour is up to.

+ The location next to the market , the style of the apartments (original) where good. - Yes, 4 rooms of upto 8 people sharing one bathroom. sharing one bathroom is ok, but i suggest you have a separate toilet. atleast when one person is using the shower, and can use the toilet, especially in the morning when everyone is requiring one or the other.

+ Good location, easy to get to and clean.

+ Friendly greeting, a good deal, a good location, and a very nice price.

+ The rooms were very clean and although fairly basic, more than sufficient for 4 nights stay. the staff that we met were very helpful and the whole experience was very relaxed and stress free - Being the type of appartments that they are - ie stone floors, no curtains or carpets - there is a lot of noise coming from all the rooms / appartments surrounding it. however if you accept that that is the nature of accomodation in barcelona, then it really isn't a problem

+ Close to centre. hotel guy was helpful when he arrived. - The hotel was not adequately signed so was difficult to find. when we found it, there was no reception and it was impossible to gain access to our room. we had to phone the number on the booking form and get someone to come and meet us. if we had arrived late at night we might not have been able to get hold of anyone. there was a resident on the 2nd floor called stephan who left the main door open (security risk) who verbally assaulted us and accused us of trying to break into his apartment. he also tried to attack my boyfriend physically. if i had been travelling alone it would have been very frightening.

+ Kind staff, good area, clean room, clean kitchen, very good price for what you get. - Sheets were not clean, it was the only negative

+ Pretty much did what it said on the tin and if you read the other reviews... you get what you pay for. i will come back again.

+ You get what you pay for cheap and basic - We had a problem with the door no easy access to get out

+ Nice room in nice apartment - very good value for money. - We were in the front room, with a balcony to the road and we suffered a lot of road noise during the first night. the staff were very helpful in moving us another room in the apartment which was much queiter. not much noise insulation between the four bedrooms in the apartment, and you can hear pretty much every step on the marble floors and banging about in the kitchen.
