Royal Hotel Barcelona

Excellent location and room was clean and comfortable. Facilities in the hotel are limited, there is a vending / seating area on the ground floor but the restaurant is next door. This seems strange at first but it is accessible from the second floor of

+ Staff was efficient and the room was clean, modern and comfortable. the extra window providing a double glazing controlled noise from the street.

+ Clean, modern, centrally placed, within easy walking distance of the gothic quarter attractions. 10mins walk to the beach. metro station 2 mins walk which connects to all of barcelona's regions, making it easy to reach all of the 'have to see' areas/attractions. - Nothing wrong with the hotel at all, make sure that your windows are fully shut! they have a sensor which will not allow the air-con to work if they are even slightly ajar.

This was aur first stay at this hotel. Exelent hotel. Very nice view to the Ramblas, the winsows had double glass therefore it was quit. The room is clean, the bathroom is big and clean. The hotel is in a wonderful place at the Ramblas, and near piazza Katalunia. We recommend this hotel as a very good hotel.

+ The hotel is very well situated in the center of the great city of barcelona. the staff was very helpful. the rooms are clean and first rate. - Water temperature in the shower varies from very cold to very hot making a good hot shower a dangerous guessing game

+ Great location. very clean. no real problems. very quiet. - I just thought some of the staff could be a little bit more welcoming. its like they didn't care because they don't have to...at same time some were nice so it is hard to generalist.

Location, location, location! - Great part of town. La Ramblas, one of the highlights of Barcelona is right outside the front door. Its only 10min walk to the sea, although you have to go a bit further to reach the start of the beach areas. Close to some good museums and the tourist bus which connects you with most of the key areas of town. The only negative for me was breakfast which I felt was only average.

+ Superb location. staff very helpful.buffet breakfast was good value and we would definately stay there on our return to barcelona!!!

+ Hotel was in a fantastic locaton, clean tidy and helpful staff. would visit again. - Need to check my bill, but maybe a little expensive for what it was - worth it for the location though.
