+ Staff very helpful and pleasant, room - clean and reasonably spacious for a budget hotel. bathroom clean and plenty of hot water, comfy beds - Said that breakfast was included, but that consisted of a vending machine [free] and packaged sponge-type cakes.room at front quite noisy from traffic all night. hotel not on ground floor as suggested by brochure, accessible by lift or stairs [no light on stairs at night] fire escape door locked!!!

- Checkin time on info was 12.00 rooms not ready. we booked 2 triples we were given a triple and a double with a bed in it. also the first nights was charged before we arrived, considering we got there at 12.30. the info on the website states checkout at 12.00 when it was 10.30. i was very disapponted this time as i have booked with you five times before and never had any trouble.

+ Good location and service - Poor breakfast facuity, rooms we had were very small

+ Myself and two friends went to barcelona and thought this hotel was great. location was brilliant, right next door to la rambla. the staff, in particular a male (we didn't get his name), was always freindly and very helpful, would always have a smile on his face. i would recommend it. at first when i seen our room, i thought it was small but once we got used to it, it was exactly what we needed. to be honest the kindness of the reception made you feel like you were at home. we usually go self catering but chose to do a hotel this time and we have no regrets at all. - The only thing is the cleaner did not come on the last two days, which was needed, considering how messy girls can be ha ha, but i would still book it if i were to go there next time. lovley hotel....

+ This hotel is clean and haa very friendly staff. i satyed there and did not have any problems with the hotel. if anyoe is looking for a reasonable priced and a good standard hotel i would definately recommend pelayo. - I feel that the breakfast should include more than tea/coffee and cereal.

+ Perfect for what we needed. comfy rooms, bathroom good and perfect location. cleanliness could have been a little better.

+ Just enjoyed the stay. - No breakfast room but we only stayed two nights.

+ A very basic hotel but nice clean rooms and very centrally located. - Noisy. we had a room close to reception and there was a significant amount of noise till late at night with people coming and going. in particular the receptionist spent long periods speaking very noisily on the phone and ignored our request in the middle of the night to try and keep the volume down a bit. "breakfast" was disappointing but we knew this was going to be the case. without the noise issue, we would have been happy paying what we did. but given that we were unable to get a good night's sleep we were unimpressed by the cost.

+ Excellent location, 2 minute walk to la ramblas,nice street, felt safe at night, 24 hour reception, very clean.
