A great location in a great city. The surrounding area is ultra-cool and not too touristy, lots of great clothing shops and good bars and restaurants. Well-placed for exploring all Barcelona, including the beach. Rooms perfectly comfortable and equipped with all that you need, although not large. Baths are definitely too small. The hotel itself is an Art Deco mini-masterpiecce - use the stairs not the lift for full effect. I would return.

Great hotel, super room and friendly staff. Breakfast good. Really good location which was very close to the Gothic area and main station. Just wish they didn't leave the lights and air conditioning on when we're out all day.

+ Very helpful staff. My hairdryer made a very funny noise. I got a replacement the same day. Also at the reception they helped us with different problems, especially - Soundproofing could be better

+ I basically got to the Hotel and used the tourist book which was in the room. Once I'd chosen what I wanted to do, I asked the chap at teh front counter if it was as good as it read and how to get there. He provided me with a small and large scale map,E

This is a very good hotel. Situated next to the fabulous El Born area and short walk to beaches and Gothic Quarter. Staff were entirely coureous and helpful. And the rooms, whilst not large are plenty big enough for short stays. It has a very funky bar and classy dining area. I would certainly stay here again.

+ Staff service - all recommendations re where to eat and what to see - first class. Food selection at breakfast as good as anywhere I've stayed.
