Very good location, very helpful staff, good breakfast, deserves a higher classification.

Pretty basic The hotel was pretty basic, however, this was all which was needed at the time, was just really looking for a bed rather than a luxury accommodation. Thought it would have been a bit better but was okay.

Great Location, good value For the price, it was a good value and we would stay there again. The location is very convenient. The morning/day check-in clerk speaks very little English and is not very friendly; the evening clerk is much better. Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay The hop-on/hop-off busses stop near the hotel, and are the best way to see all of the city’s main attractions.(Be aware that there are 2 competing lines that look similar with open upper decks - don’t get on the wrong ones.)

Nothing to write home about The Oasis was a decent place to lay your head in Barcelona -- especially since if you’re going to spend most of your time enjoying the city sights and nightlife. My biggest complaint was that the shower head would not stay mounted and I had to hold it in my hand to use it. The mattress and towels were flimsy, but what can you expect for a room at a fairly low rate. The hotel was about a 10 minute walk from Columbus Place and the lower part of La Ramblas, but I didn’t mind that since you walk and walk and walk around the city anyway. My double room was small but clean, so overall, the hotel was a decent value.

    - large damp patch up the interior wall in our room, probably due to the renovation work going on within the hotel.
