Business hours of reception: 24 hours Hotel Nouvel is situated in the centre of Barcelona, in a pedestrian street, surrounded by shops, department stores and monuments. Constructed at the end of the XIX century in a modernist style, it has been a hotel since 1917. It was completely renovated in 1992 but unique details were conserved: the coffered ceiling, bronze and crystal lamps, marble floor and colours immortalized by painter Roca-Sastre. The enlargement of 2003 served to equip the hotel with one of the most sophisticated anti-fire systems. All the rooms have private bathroom, central heating, air-conditioning, telephone, satellite TV, hair dryer and a safe. Doors are protected with a card lock, fire detectors and hi-tech sprinklers. The hotel disposes of the charming restaurant “La Lluna" where our buffet breakfast (from 8 till 10:30) is served. For lunch and dinner, our chef, Eduard Vilardell, offers innovative Mediterranean cuisine. The great location of the hotel allows you to visit the main tourist attractions on foot: the Ramblas, Passeo de Gracia, Gothic Quarter, Picasso Museum, Opera Liceu, Palace of Catalan music, Museum of Contemporary Art (MACBA). To visit sights that are a bit further away from the city centre you have easy access to bus, metro, suburban trains. The Hotel Nouvel offers the following services: rooms for disabled, elevator, luggage room, baby cot, lobby, wi-fi internet zone, fax, laundry, currency exchange, car rental, reservations and tickets for shows, excursions, sightseeing tours, tourist information.

hotel was situated well at top of the ramblas, close to metro, shops, bars and restaraunts. facilities within hotel limited although clean rooms and pleasant helpful staff made the stay enjoyable. would stay there again.

+ position and entrance hall helpful staff - limited choice for breakfast - not very interesting. The dining room was overcrowded for breakfast some people had to wait for tables. Only CNN in English on TV

The Nouvel Hotel is beautiful and very old. They were renovating the marble tiles in the entrance lobby but that did not interfere with our stay. No fridge in room and we had to store my insulin in the restaurant fridge.! The buffet breakfast was good

The hotel and location are perfect, but be aware that due to the central location it is very noisey at night. Apart from that small point i would highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel made our stay most comfortable. Its location is perfect and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. There was a lot of noise from the street early in the morning, but during the night it was quiet. When we asked for the name of a nearby restaurant we were directed to a great little tapas bar and given a discount, so that helped the holiday mood too! We would definitely stay here again.

The Nouvel Hotel was fine for us. Just a few shops off Las Ramblas. Spacious rooms,good breakfasts. Can't say enough for the good service we received. The Manager, Roberto went out of his way to book a train for us a week after we had left his hotel, the
