The Hotel Nouvel in Barcelona, a restored late 19th century Modernista building, the hotel is situated right in the historic centre of the city, just 50 metres from the lively boulevard of Las Ramblas. ideal location, but rooms (including bathroom) are rather small and dark. No problem though for visitors doing a lot of sightseeing!!

Wonderful hotel steps from everything This was the nicest European hotel I’ve ever seen. We had a hard to find triple room with a corner view, double balcony with doors that opened to the street.The room was huge, nicely furnished with decor on the ceiling! The staff was very helpful.This is 1 block from a main square (Catalunya)& 5 shops from La Rambla. El Corte de Ingles is 3 shops the other way. Amazing location. Traveler's tip on local attractions The desk sells tickets for the tourist bus-there are 3-& theirs is the combo of 1&2. Hard to get something to eat between1-6pm unless you go to Hard Rock around the corner-adjust & eat local!

Will stay here again upon return to Barcelona Had nice accommodations for a triple room, which is hard to find. Hotel is in a great location, right off of Las Ramblas, near great resturants, shopping, the port, etc! Hotel Staff was very friendly and spoke many different languages. Room was large, and nicely appointed. Free Continental Breakfast in La Luna, the hotel’s reesturant was very good. Will definately stay at the hotel again when back in Barcelona, definately better than its 2.5 star rating.

Great choice! Excellent hotel in the heart of Las Ramblas. The hotel was near some great restaurants and near all the shopping! The staff was extremely helpful and offered different choices for each day of our stay. When I return to Barcelona, I will stay here again!
