The hotel was built in 1992 and consists of 6 floors and a total of 145 rooms of which 5 are singles, 140 are doubles and 5 are suites. Amongst the hotel facilities count a foyer with 24-hr reception, a safe, a currency exchange desk, a cloakroom and a lift. Dining options include a café, a cocktail bar and an inviting bar and a restaurant with a separate non-smoking area and highchairs for infants. myself and my boyfriend booked a weekend break to barcelona and chose this hotel for its location. When we got there we were pleasantly surprised. Its a short 10 minute walk from the centre of Barcelona and benefits from being in a quiet area away from the sound of traffic. If you go left out of the entrance you are only 5 minutes from the nearest metro station. The hotel itself was very comfortable with a fantastic breakfast that kept us going until early evening. A bonus for us was that the staff are happy to keep your bags once you have checked out until you are ready to collect them, totally free of charge, which enabled us to have another hassle free day sightseeing as our return flight wasn't until 7.00 pm. Would definately go back.

Located in the heart of Barcelona. Their staff provided a High-quality service not to mention the faboulous superb dining options. The Plaza Cataluna is only 1 kilometers.

I really enjoyed my stay at NH Podium. Hotel has a great location, walking distance from the Plaza cataluna and rambla.Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Buffet Breakfast is delicious.

+ I used to stay at this hotel often 10 years ago. I like it then, not any more. - I was hungry when I arrived and tried to get something to eat. Room service was not available. I went to the bar where they wanted to charge me 9 euros for a cheese and ham

Only a 10 minute stroll to Placa de Catalunya. The room was extremely comfortable, and the facilities excellent. Could not fault the staff - very helpful.

The wall is too thin, and could hear the noise from the next door. I could't sleep.
