Medium Prisma Hotel Barcelona

+ I only needed the room for one night because i was flying out of barcelona early in the morning. it served it's purpose. the room was nice and clean but small. the bathroom was very nicely renovated. the location was good and the staff was cordial. i would recommend staying at this hotel if you need it for the purpose of sleeping. it was not a room that i would enjoy spending a lot of time in. - I requested a non-smoking room and the guest in the room next to me was smoking. i could smell the smoke in my room. i had to keep the window open all night. with that being said, i don't think that was the hotel's fault.

Friendly staff, small rooms. A nice place. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the place is clean and well kept. Not a luxury hotel and the rooms are small, but excellent for its class. It's in a good neighborhood, and within walking distance of quite a lot of stuff. It's a 15 minute walk from the train station. The downside is the lack of internet access in the hotel, except dial-up.

+ No curfew, air conditioning, mini bar in room, lovely bathroom and friendly staff - Rooms are very small!

+ My computer is very picky about wifis but it actually talked to theirs (which is not advertised but exists). The location is quite good, specially if (like me) you're traveling relatively light and need to use the train station at Sants several times. T

Worth the price Though it is only rated a 2 star hotel my stay there was quite pleasant, the location is ideal walking distance from the main railway about 10 to 15 mins as well as the metro, i really can't say much aboout the food because i never ate there was up eatly each say to explore and usually ate out or got something fromt the supermarket which is only a couple of mins down the road, the only one complaint i have is the statment that made about the distance of camp nou from the hotel it still isn't far but i am positive it was not the 0.5 miles as stated, still if you are looking for a cheap yet comfortable base especially if you will be exploring the city by foot or public trnsportation then i think this hotel will be a great choice oh almost forgot just pray the life is working when you check in i was lucky got a room on the 4th floor that could have been really emotional if the life was broken but hey a little walkng never hurt anyone

Great place to stay it should have been given a lot higher rating than 2**, staff were very friendly and helpful,very clean and modern and very quite to get a good night sleep, we will strongly recomend this hotel to everyone to stay.

+ Friendly staff, clean, good breakfast in the morning (decent coffee especially appreciated.) - Hotel in process of refurbishment (they appear to be expanding into the building next door). my room was in the part of the building being refurbished, and was very noisy, being located on the floor in between two floors being refurbished. drilling and hammering started at 0730 and continued to 2100 every day. the stairs, lift and lobby were filthy with plaster dust and rubble, and the builders used the lift constantly to convey their materials. a request to the manager for a different room or a reduction in charges was refused. my room was in the centre of the building with only a view onto a ventilation shaft. strong smell of cigarette smoke in my room from smokers in other rooms. room very small. expensive for the facilities and room size. suggest you avoid until refurbishment is complete. hotel is convenient for most things - about 10min walk from sants station, 20 min walk to plaza espana, eixample and ramblas. 2 min walk to plaza francesc macia and two of the bus tour routes.

NOT TOO FAR FROM THE CITY great little bakery about two blks away and a nice chinese restaurant just 1/2 blk up the street
