The Hotel Subur in Sitges, completely renovated in 1997, this simple, white stucco hotel with painted shutters and balcony railings is a good example of early twentieth century seaside architecture. Facing the sea, the beach is just meters from the door. The 95 air conditioned rooms are spread over five storeys and feature a cool, simple décor with laminated floors, plain walls and patterned fabrics. All rooms have cable television, direct dial telephones and private bathrooms. At the Hotel Subur, a buffet breakfast, not included in rate is served every morning and after a day of sun bathing on the beach, guests can tuck into hearty Tex Mex fare in the hotel's sports themed restaurant. The historical and tourist attractions as well as numerous bars and restaurants of Sitges are all a short walk from the hotel. At the Hotel Subur, Sitges, for those who prefer the green to the beach, such guests will find a golf course three kilometers away and Barcelona city and airport are directly reached by train. The station is 500 meters from the hotel. Barcelona airport is 30 kilometers (19 miles) distance.

Great for beach holiday Hotel was a great stay as we were travelling along the south coast of Spain to Portugal. We enjoyed the breakfast in the morning. Was a friendly atmosphere. Traveler's tip Allow time to explore the beach and surrounds.

Great location, average accomodations This hotel is located in a perfect spot to enjoy the beach, the town and nightlife. The staff were polite and helpful with restaurant recommendations, taxi and directions. We had a top floor room with a nice pie sliced view of the beach - something we weren’t expecting at the rate we paid, so a nice surprise. However, our bathroom door was warped and would not close, there was wallpaper peeling off in the hallway, and there was a constant odor of sewage outside the room from what I presume was bad piping. If you can put up with the negatives, all in all this hotel is not a bad deal for the price. Traveler's tip on dining Try "Can Marti", the restaurant just across the street for excellent local cuisine and friendly service - pricey but worth it.

Very pleasant experience The hotel is in a great location, sports bar downstairs ok for a drink, or to sit on outside terrace, but just around the corner great choice of bars and more inexpensive restaurants.
