Very formidable Getting this Barcelona card is a great idea if you are there for a few days... and there is a metro stop really close to this hotel so it's easy to get around.

Location, the cleanest room i have ever seen. Cool sauna in the little gym. Internet Laptop free in every room - VERY high tech. Nice bar. None

Extremely Impressed We spent two nights at the Hotel Petit Palace in Barcelona. The location was perfect-right off of Las Ramblas Street about 3 blocks north of Plaza Catalunya. The hotel offers free wi-fi, and included a computer to use in the room for free. We stayed in a family room, which had a king sized bed, two bunk beds, and a dining area. Each bunk had its own mini-TV. The room was very comfortable, although the air conditioning wasn’t working real good. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and extremely helpful in recommending restaurants, places to visit, and in arranging for transportation to the airport. I would definitely stay there again. Traveler's tip The hotel is so new that many taxi drivers don’t know exactly how to get there. We had to take two taxis due to the amount of luggage we had, and one of the taxis dropped me off at the wrong hotel. Make sure to specify that the hotel is about half a block west of Calle Las Ramblas on Calle Diputacia.

+ Location - Hotel was not complete, wires were sticking out of the walls, no taps on the bath. holes in wall, this should not have been booked as was not ready for guests, no tea/cofee making,etc, etc. when finished will be very nice

- No wall handle to grasp to get into and out of high tub/shower. Very dangerous, especially for seniors.

Totally exceeded our expectations More like a 5 star hotel, extremely comfortable and the laptop with internet access was great to have after a long trip.

+ The hotel is beautifully done out and in an excellent location to all the city centre amenities and attractions. - I find it hard to see how the price is justified as it was expensive considering the size of the room.

Modern and convenient This hotel was convenient for walking down Las Ramblas and "the 5th avenue" of Barcelona. We stayed in a family room - large bed for parents, bunks for the kids - one room. Loved the free wireless internet in our room and the small TVs for each bunk child. Only drawback - bathroom is not very private, but is very clean and new. Nice lobby area, nice service and lots of luggage storage for early arrivals and late stays (we did both).
