The 2-star Hostal Gat Xino is not just any hostel, but a hyper-designed Barcelona-chic hostel, with great facilities and plenty-o-hipness in the trendy and super central Raval neighbourhood of Barcelona, Spain. This young, designer hostel has 34 rooms walking distance to all the great bars, trendy restaurants and the best nightlife options. The hostel is just a 5-minute walk to Las Ramblas in the heart of the sometimes funky, sometimes edgy, but always cool Raval neighbourhood.Check out the Penultimo bar on C/Hospital for great music and a mishmash of furniture. Kenobi bar has a similar feel, but with a dangerously tempting and lengthy cocktail list. Raval is famous for its hard to find bars, La Concha, Bar Manolo and the Ateneu are all near Nou de la Rambla. By the way, the hostel is also close to the beach, the Gothic Quarter, Picasso Museum, MACBA contemporary art museum and CCCB.All rooms have flat screen TV with international channels and safety deposit on request.
