+ Lots of space, nice roof terrace, well fitted-out, good location (1 min from metro/squares/cafes). Helpful/pleasant staff. - A little noisy but it could not be different given the central location.

good location, good location - just a few steps to main street and metro. The stop for the Barcelona bus (hop-on-hop-off bus)is just a few blocks away. There are a supermarket nearby, also a few restaurants and the hotel is not far from main tourist attractions. The hotel is small and cannot be distinguished as a hotel from the front. However, a room has been renovated in a modern style and big enough for a family of three. (the room might be designed to fit even 4-5 in it) We got an executive suite with comprising of one room with two twin beds and another one with a king size bed. There are also microwave, fridge, a few wardrobe and everything enough for long stay..although we spent only a weekend there but can see how convenient it can be. There is a bottle of champaign and chocolate as a welcome. The bathroom and toilet is quite small and not decorated with a good material. However, it is clean and not too bad overall. Another good thing is a free wi-fi.

The room was very noisy. The staff were ok but not great. The rooms were lovely but i thought i had requested the two bed suite. Didn't get that one

Would definitely stay here again Previous trips to Barcelona have been marred by poor quality accommodation. This hotel was a massive improvement. Situated in the Gothic Quarter, it is an ideal base for exploring Barcelona. However, it is just far enough away from the La Rambla to avoid much of the late night noise, which is worsened by the narrow streets of the Gothic Quarter. As well as double glazing, our first floor room also had heavy wooden shutters and curtains, which ensured peace and quiet. The room itself was spacious and well equipped with kitchen facilities, TV, CD Player and air conditioning. There was also a complimentary bottle of chilled cava and chocolates in our room on arrival, which I thought was a very nice touch! The staff were also very helpful and friendly. When I asked the person on reception a question about the opening times of an attraction, she found out the information and called me in my room. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel and will be staying there again next year.

We still cannot believe that we were able to get a beautifully decorated suite with a king sized bed, living room, and kitchenette, in the heart of Barcelona, at such a low cost. No parking onsite, but many pay lots nearby. The minibar had the best sele

+ Lots of character and immaculately clean/modern - Noise from street, but expected it. Lack of natural daylight, but buildings in old town are close together.

This was a very clean, stylish and modern boutique style hotel. The staff we met were very intelligent and competent. The location is superb for sightseeing and atmosphere. Our taxi driver could not find the hotel and did not know the street, but I think that is more a reflection on the standard of taxi drivers in Barcelona
