Superb hotel, modern and functional. Kind service, excellent patio with restaurant and swimming pool. Moden rooms, a little on the dark side. Pity there is a building blocking the view of the sea. Breakfast was oustanding. Not cheap, unfortunately, but fa

Very nice rooms and exellent bathroom. It's a modern hotel with a nice pool at the rooftop. Breakfast was not included in the price and we paid 23 Eur. each for the breakfast. Compared with other 5 star hotel this breakfast wasn't much, so the other days we went out to eat our breakfast. One day when we came back to the hotel at 4.00 in the afternoon, the room still wasn't cleaned. However the hotel was OK, and the Marina next to the hotel have very good restaurants.

+ The staff was excellent and tried to help out even after inconviniences caused - 2 cases occuered which did not go very well with our stay in barcelona a) we booked a sight seeing trip through the hotel and when we reported at the designated bus stop we were left stranded as no bus arrived. after waiting for an hour we returned to the hotel. the hotel paid us in full but we lost out on the day 2. the next day the hotel gave us a handheld gps promising that the battery life would be 8 hours. the same lasted for only 2.5 hours which again spoiled our walking tour of barcelona. even this time the money was returned in full but we wasted both our days for sight seeing causing immense inconviniences to my parents who might be visiting barcelona for the last time

I went to Barcelona for a badly need vacation and my stay at the AB Skipper was perfect-all but one of the staff were polite, helpful and very welcoming-my room was great-really loved the bathroom-Fitness room was small but had what was needed-both pools were beautiful-the bar downstairs was fun and I was very sorry to leave-The hotel was within walking distance to everywhere. Only complaint, which is very minor, is one night I did not get the "night time turn in service"- Will definitely go back! Met people from all over the world-some wer a little stuffy but most were there to have a good time-
