+ The staff was/and are very kind and helpfull. the design of the hotel is very interesting, the lightning effect is excellent.. - A little more information in writen form about activities and price/thinking about new years eve. and it would be good if all of the staff spoke english. some light on the stairs to the rooms.

- the room offered with marina view was a single room with a six foot bed squeezed into it! Had to change to no view room for same price

+ Hotel 54 is a very nice design hotel, with a good atmosphere, at a very good spot in barcelona, near beach, not far from discoteques and centre!

+ Great location with a fantastic roof terrace. rooms are very nice and modern, with a great shower. would definitely stay there again. - Room was small with limited storage space.

+ location and design of hotel - New hotel which has some technical teething problems [windows not closing, phones not working, no extra bedding provided in rooms]. Service varied from good to dreadful depending on shifts. High price not justified.

+ The hotel was well situated and smart in a modern designer/minimilist way. - We stayed for 3 days and on one of the days the room was not cleaned/made up. the breakfast is very poor. one day the previously luke warm hard boiled eggs were served up on the folowing day having obviously been kept in the refrigerator overnight!

+ Staff was very helpfull... we have asked to stay a day less and they accepted without any charge for "late cancellation" - Rooms are noisy and wi-fi signal is not strong enough
