+ Helpful staff,security,free wireless internet - No tv

+ One of the staff members at the hostal was very helpful and informative. i felt safe here and the location was prime. - The mattresses were a bit hard, but for the most part we slept pretty comfortably. the walls are thin so i would recommend this place to young singles because of the noise.

+ Great location and helpful staff. plus the safe was a bargain at 1euro per day. - You can hear every noise from the next room and the corridor.

+ One of the desk clerks was very helpful with directins and recommendations. convenient location, luggage storage available before check-in, and lobby lift so not necessary to lug bags up four flights of stairs. - Walls are paper thin so even normal conversations in adjoining rooms took place in our room, no ac turned on first week of june so room did not have air circulation, shower curtain too small and water always got on the floor, mattresses are thin, wiry and uncomfortable.

+ Overall, expectations exceeded. reasonable price,seamless booking and check-in, rooms very clean, location is superb, just off the middle of rambla, saved a lot of time and walk, even allowing for a quick rest between walks of the gothic. convenient services nearby: coerfur superstore, la boqueria market, all the rambla eateries and cafes, easyinternet cafe, metro station. the hostel on its own got a computer with pay as you go internet access but no printer, coffee machine reasonable priced and good cofee, lockers - to be used after you check out until time to leave for the airport-very usefull. - No printer service-essential for online check-in with airlines. could be provided as paid for service. the furniture was on the tiny side, probably a bigger night , or a second one would benefit the room.

+ Great position just of la rambla, 24 hour reception was great when we arrived at about 1am and left at 5 am - A bit noisy in the corridors when other guests returning late at night

+ Great location just off of la rambla by the liceu metro station. room was very clean and a nice size for one person. - Free wi-fi although connection was in and out and not very fast.

+ I stayed at the hostal opèra and i have found it very comfortable, very close to the ramblas and the rooms clean. moreover, the staff was always very polite and kind with us. we advice this hotel to anuone wants to go to barcelona!
