Cosy, clean and simple hostal that combines an historic exterior (an early 20th century building) with a confortable and fully equipped, refurbished interior. It is located in the uptown Eixample district, a typically Catalan residential area with wide, tree-lined streets with terrace cafés, shops and restaurants. The hostal is a 5-minute walk from La Pedrera and Casa Batlló, two of Gaudí's most impressive residential buildings, and many Modernist jewels. Trains from Muntaner station, the "Ferrocarrils Catalans" regional train line (fully integrated with bus and metro services), will get you in 5-10 minutes to Plaza Catalunya, La Rambla, the Gothic Quarter and the Old Port.
