The recently opened 2-star establishment, Hostal HMB is located 100 metres from the famous Passeig de Gracia where you can see Gaudi's famous buildings: La Pedrera and Casa Batllo, two unmissable sights on a trip to Barcelona. The excellent location of this hostel allows you to visit the whole city centre on foot, discovering famous places like the central Placa Catalunya and the Rambla which is always bustling with tourists and locals. You can also use the metro or bus network if you prefer as there are stops near the accommodation.Hostal HMB has a total of 13 rooms, all of which have a bathroom, television and Wi-Fi Internet access. You can choose from single or double rooms and quadruple rooms with two single beds and a sofa bed. Towels and sheets are included in the price but breakfast is not.The hostel has a foyer with a TV where you can relax with other guests. There is also a left-luggage office, a safe, Wi-Fi Internet access in communal areas and a lift. The reception is open 24 hours a day. Lastly, if you are travelling to the city with your own car, you can park it at the public car park 15 metres away.A very centrally located hostel where you can enjoy the city to the full!

+ The staff were very helpful and pleasant and the room very clean.i was pleasently suprised.very good. - Apart from the noise of fireworks during the night because i think it was a festival day nothing negative to report.

- In august the clime is very hot with a big percentual of umidity, the air conditioned doesn't work so well.

+ Friendly staff - Outside on the street was very much noise, especially in the night. it was nearly impossible to sleep.

+ Nice street and good location. - When i arrived there was no signage in the entrance area telling me where to go to registar and get my room. it would be nice to have a little sign saying "take the lift to the 1st floor and turn left".
