Small, cozy, 1-star, 10-rooms hostel with a familiar atmosphere located in L’Eixample district, 10 minutes on foot from Rambla Catalunya, Passeig de Gràcia, Pl. Catalunya and La Rambla. In Rambla Catalunya and Passeig de Gràcia you will find all kind of fashion shops, from the most exclusive ones, as Chanel or Louis Vuitton, to the less expensive as H&M or Zara; while you have a nice walk along those charming boulevards, you will be able to admire the most fascinating modernist buildings of the city. The tourist information centre is located in Pl. Catalunya, where La Rambla begins and continues down to the seafront.The hostel has excellent transport connections, as it is situated on the corner of Gran Via, one of the main arteries of Barcelona, where many bus lines pass by and takes you to Montjuïc, the port, the beaches of la Barceloneta, the airport… where you also find Urgell (line 1) and Pl. Universitat (lines 1 and 2) metro station. It is a secure, tranquil area, with lots of restaurants at good prices.The rooms are basic, well-lit and sunny, with kitchen access; some have a balcony overlooking the street, and others overlook the large courtyard. There are rooms with washbasin and shared bathroom, or with a complete private bathroom with shower or bathtub, depending on availability. The rooms accommodating 4 persons include 2 individual beds and a bunk bed, the rest offer individual o double beds, always depending on availability. It is possible to add additional beds. The hostel offers 24h reception service, laundromat (5 €) and heating.
