Hostal Barcelona Quartier Gothic is located at the heart of Barcelona, in the Gothic neighbourhood, just a few metres away from the Ramblas, the cathedral and the port. The hostel is on Calle Avinyo, a street which is famous for its elegant buildings, formerly owned by Catalan aristocrats and for the school where Picasso learned to paint when he was a teenager (La Llotja). From here it is easy to explore the whole city centre on foot and the metro station is just 150 metres away if you want to visit places a little further away, like Parc Guell.The hostel is housed in a Tuscan-style building which is unique in Barcelona. The simple, yet comfortable rooms sleep 2 or 3 guests and have shared or private bathrooms. Each room has its own safe. The rooms are not air conditioned but there are ceiling fans for the summer months. There is a computer with internet access for guest’s to use in the reception area.A typical hostel at the heart of Barcelona's Gothic neighbourhood.
