I had a very nice spacious room with modern bathroom facilities, iron and ironing board was available in each room. The buffet breakfast was quite comprehensive. The hotel is centrally located, near the beach and very convenient. My stay, despite the fact that I had an accident and was on crutches was very comfortable. The hotel provided a room exactly opposite the lift as requested and I was very pleased about that. The hotel was a little quiet, off a main street in a quiet residential street. I say it was quiet because there was no bar area, and although the shops are a short cab ride away, there are no shops right next to the hotel within walking distance that would help with the general atmosphere at the hotel and make it more livelier so it depends what you are looking for. I am not sure if there is evening dining, but often we went out to dinner as this was planned at the company and really the hotel was too quiet to have a dinner.

Spring Break Consider buying a Travelcard, but as single journeys are so cheap, do the maths first.

Before our European cruise, we spent two days in Barcelona. We did not spend too much time inside hotel, but the room is clean and the front desk people speak pretty good English and are friendly. There is not anything extra like free continental breakfast, & etc. There are a few nice restaurants within walking distance. The hotel does not have two beds, just one bed in each room. What is strange is that the shower door covers only half of the bath area. So, water gets everywhere after shower. We couldn't figure out why???

A modern hotel, zooms with spare but appealing decor, lots of light and ample space, near the beach, but beyond walking distance from the center of Barcelona. The hotel, its rooms and public spaces were visually appealing. The restaurant served excellent 3 course lunches at the locally competitive price of 16 euros.

Great Room, Close to Beach My wife and I spent one night here on July 19, 2007. Very pleased with the room,we actually got a suite with two bathrooms. Very close to beach, but too far to walk to Las Rambas (the famous street and cathedral). A cab ride to major attractions will cost you around 12-15 Euros. There aren't many restaurants opened around the restaurant, and we did not eat in the hotel so I can not comment. They have a car park, which was good both for security reasons and because you would be extremely lucky to get parking on the street. A great stay.

Beautiful hotel, far enough from tourist area to be comfortable, close enough to not be a hassle to get there.

Great hotel on Barcelona waterfront This hotel was really good...the service at the front desk was excellent, they gave us great information (in English!) about surrounding restaurants and getting around the city. Rooms were very nice, clean, and well maintained. Shower was odd to use, I ended up spraying water everywhere. Could be better designed , but maybe I was just not used to European style showers. Overall a solid place to stay, but it is a bit far away from major Barcelona attractions.

This is where we started and ended our two week trip to Spain. Our room was very clean, bright and modern. It was a great place to have as we recovered from jet lag at the trip's beginning, and also a perfect location for organizing everything for our flight home.
