Clarion Pulitzer Hotel Barcelona
Vergara , 8 - 08002 Barcelona
The Hotel Pulitzer is located right in the city centre of Barcelona, just a few minutes away from the historical Ramblas and less than 5 minutes from Paseo de Gracia. It is an outstanding spot and, above all, very welcoming. Outside, it is located in the city centre of Gaudí, surrounded by culture, museums and shopping possibilities, and, inside, the black, white, rich wood, leather and glazed areas create a variety of surroundings with a welcoming and cosmopolitan atmosphere. All the rooms on its 5 floors (one a non-smoking floor) are controlled by an automation server system, allowing guests to freely adjust the temperature and lighting to their own taste, including anti-theft security control. The rooms are also equipped with flat-screen TVs and free wi-fi connection. The restaurant “Visit” offers a wide choice of delicious Mediterranean cuisine based on top quality traditional produce. “Visit” is in one of the most remarkable places in the hotel, an area with a glazed roof and side panel that opens onto an interior garden, where you can have lunch or dinner in the spring and summer seasons. During these times you can also enjoy the delicious speciality cocktails from the bar or any other drink, appetitive or snack you feel like in the wonderful terrace overlooking the city located in the highest part of the hotel. It also has a lobby with a library, full of cosy, peaceful spots and with a huge table, which makes it the perfect place for holding work meetings with an informal touch. The hotel offers its guests the possibility of using the Holmes Place Gym-Spa gymnasium free of charge, located just two blocks away.

The Pulitzer is steps from the Plaza Catalunya. The Barri Gotic is a short walk down La Rambla. Good sized room. Great hotel lounge & bar. Small TV, but who has time for TV?

Great location For 20 euro's each you can take the tourist buses which have 3 routes around the city. The Red (north) and the Blue (South) are the main routes and well worth the cost, as you see all of the main attraction. You can get on and off the bus, however cannot guarantee getting back on easily. However, afted completing both routs (around 1.5 hrs each) you can then go back to those landmarks you would liike to spend more time at.

Stylish and convenient The Pulitzer was conveniently located near the Placa Catalyuna, well-appointed, with a friendly and helpful English-speaking staff.

This hotel was brilliant! My girlfriend and I were very impressed with the staff, location and service. The price of this hotel was brilliant. We are planning to go back to Barcelona this year and we are definately going to stay at the Pulitzer again! The only 1 bad point was that we could hear the bar sometimes when we had gone to bed but we were only on the first floor and it didn't keep us awake. The staff were excellent, all spoke good english and were very helpful. The location was brilliant, just off La Rambla so easy to get to but not too noisy. The room although on the small side was fine for the both of us, plenty of wardrobe space and the cases fit under the bed. We were impressed with the complimentary goods, eg shower gel, soaps and even slippers! The breakfast was not included with the room but we only had it one day as we went exploring on other days for food but it was a buffett style and eat till you burst type of thing...which you probably had to do as it was £10 each. A great hotel and I would thoroughly recommend this to anyone!

Fantastic hotel The Pulitzer is a stylish hotel in a wonderful location just off Placa Catalunya - convenient for the Ramblas, the Gothic quarter etc. The rooms are very comfortable and stylishly decorated with a minimalist touch. The service is excellent - as befits a 4* hotel; during our stay nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The 6th floor roof terrace is simply stunning and a lovely place for an early evening drink - truly good cocktails. We didn't eat any meals at the hotel although the ground floor restaurant and outside courtyard (for breakfast) looked very chic and comfortable and the menu offered some delicious-sounding food. The inside bar and lounge area on the ground floor was a great place just to sit and relax, read, write etc. I cannot rate this hotel highly enough.

Excellent city centre location. Hotel not as fabulous as some reviews would have you believe. The 3* hotel we stayed in the previous week (Apsis Splendid) was just as good and equally well located - but cheaper! Didn't particularly get an amazing welcome and rooms were quite noisy. Can't fault the location though.
