Second visit to Barcelona. Hotel was very positive experience. Positives: very clean, safe in room, great location, short walk from airport bus at Catalunya, very bright room, free internet (I used the terminal in the lobby, which was readily available). Negatives: expensive breakfast (I used a pastry and coffee shop down the street--they are plentiful and cheap), very warm room that was difficult to keep cool (in January). Overall: I'd recommend to a friend, and probably stay again.

+ Very good location, clean, god to have wireless internet in rooms and in lobby. relaxing on roof terrece. - Room noisy, in that door slamming when people entered their rooms was a disturbance. the "echo-ey" nature of the hall ways did not help in this.

+ Friendly and mainly helpfull staff - good location for exploring - decor modern and impressive decor very modern and impressive - Much noise during night with suitcases being wheeled on uncarpeted corridors so sleep disturbed. i had had my purse stolen on arrival in barcelona and a member of staff told me barcelona was a city of thieves then asked if i would be paying my bill - very insensitive as all my cards and money had been stolen. other members of staff more understanding and sensitive to immediate needs.

My first stay at this hotel. I looked for a low price hotel close to Las Ramblas, not in Barri Xines. Many comments say, that noise by closing doors is loud. Since the hotel was renovated few years ago, This problem shouldn't appear.

+ Very helpful and friendly staff, very good location, close to public transport - Generally no, however it would be preferrable to have the internet terminal to be more private in case you are wanting to do online banking or book tickets etc using credit card, it would also be preferrable to know if the room has an outlook, the room i had only looked out into central courtyard area with no environmental asthetics.

Its a new and clean hotel. Location is excellent, within 5 min of La Rambla. TV, lights and bathroom fittings were modern. Really appreciated the free flow of mineral water in the hotel lobby. Breakfast was nice, but not included in the price quoted. Didn't get to utilise the jacuzzi and solarium, but they looked inviting.

+ free mineral water, coffee, wi-fi. modern design - Night staff in the was very unpolite and had no information about hotel services . I did not like the bunk bed . One can not sleep when another bed is hanging on your head .

+ It was a nice clean hotel in a good location close to ra lamblas. - The price was expensve. this may be due to the grand prix weekend.

+ Modern, clean and friendly - Because of its location, there was a lot of noise coming from the street below at night. also, it's a shame that breakfast isn't included in the price.

+ Great service, very very friendly staff, very clean, great location. - For one single person room is very small, single bed with a bunk bed above with no external window makes the room claustrophobic.
