City Center Studio

We were lucky to find this flat in the really center of Bercelona. Vanessa was very kind and usefull...thanks to her advices our short stay in the city was perfect. We will definitely be back!

Small apartment with excellent location for exploring the city centre on foot. Very nice and helpful staff. The cleanliness wasn't the best, but for the price it was a great deal. We had a baby cot installed for free. Also with the baby stroller it would have been nice with an elevator, but thats a minor flaw.

This is nice place to stay for young people it is near La Rambla

We arrived late and were greeted very warmingly and professionally by the wonderful rep. She was helpful above and beyond (laundry!) and very nice. Appartment - in real life not quite what the photos on the web look like - was excellent. Everything we needed and in the right place for an excellent stay in Barcelona. We will use them again!

Fitstly the bunk bed was of a very flimsy construction. It was definitely unsafe and I felt as the whole frame shook at the slightest movement. There was no kettle provided at this property. We were told on a complaint that people didn't use kettles in Spain and sure we could use a saucepan! On looking out the window of the flat on arrival I asked the representative about the building going on immediatly outside in a courtyard. I was told that the builders were on holiday. Well they certainly were not!!!!!! Every morning we were awoken to the noise and bustle of a building site. This was never stated at any point in the booking process. Ventilation at this apartment was very poor which would have been very uncomfortable if the weather was very hot. The door frame had the appearance of been forced in at some stage and the door lock didn't look very secure. We were not told that the hot water switch went the 'other way' and thus had to do without hot water for 2 days. The location though of this property is ideal but it needs some improvement to make it satisfactory.

Jovellanos 7 is just next Placa de Catalunya, the city center! The Studio is small, but quiet and clean. You have all confort for prepare your breakfast and lunch. It's a little hot in the day time. The building is old but the surroundings are wonderful!

The apartment was just what we were looking for: a cheap stay in the middle of the city! We don´t care about luxus when visiting a city for a couple of days. We just want to safe money on the stay - that way we can spend more money in other ways :o) We will be happy to recommend venere to other people, and also to use venere again our selves on future trips. This was the perfect place for our budget trip to Barcelona. The location was in the middle of everything, but the apartment was at the back of the building so it was very quiet. The person who greeted us was very helpful, giving us tips about the area, how to get around and where to eat. If you're looking for luxury, this is not the place, but if you are looking for a budget place to lay your head at night and take a shower (plus you can wash your clothes!), this is a definite yes. The only down we found was that the mattress on the bottom was a little uncomfortable, but nothing to keep us from coming back. And while there are two beds, the place is compact, so be sure to share with people you don't mind being in close quarters with... Overall, great value, great place.

RING THE OWNER AS YOU LAND....OTHERWISE YOU@LL BE WAITING AT THE APARTMENT (Especially if you have children)

The face price of the apartment is good, but please remember there is a cleaning charge of 50 Euros. For short stay, it is not a good price option, but for long stay, it may be. However, since it is an apartment, nobody will clean up the room in between the stay and the supplies will run out without replacement. There is not enough supplies of toilet paper, and the shower head was mal-function. The kitchen is equiped with utensils and cookwares. The location is great, very close to Las Ramblas, but the building itself is old without lift. The interior is good with a large bunker bed (max. fit 4 ppl.) in that studio.
