+ Cleanliness, helpfulness of staff and overall design was very pleasing to the eye. - Both rooms booked were extremely noisey both from traffic outside and from slamming doors until 04.00am. we did complain but the receptionist explained that there was nothing that could be done about the noise of other guests bedroom doors or the traffic.

We enjoyed very much our stay at the hotel. The service was good, the staff very kind, and the location very central. It included a buffet breakfast with a large variaty. Will probably stay there again when in Barcelona.

Catalonia Berna Hotel is an excellent hotel for business travelers. I accompanied my wife to Barcelona on a business trip. While she was working during the day, I traveled about the city on foot. I found it to be a good location to explore from. There are many things to see close by.

A lovely hotel, the staff were very helpful and very friendly. Rooms facing outside were the better ones, the others were dark & you could see very clearly into the rooms opposite. Would definately return.

Good value for money Great location with easy walking to many of Barcelona attractions, the airport bus and Barcelona underground metro. The breakfast was great and the staff were very helpful. Only one drawback, thats the bar. They only serve one bottled beer and the bar area is small with no atmosphere and the drinks are expensive.
