The Hostal Barcelona Ramblas is a brand new and clean hostel located in Nou de La Rambla, just off Las Ramblas and a short walk to the old port and Barceloneta beach. You can't get more central than this, with great restaurants, bars, cafes, terraces, and the lively Las Ramblas all nearby. Walk down to the wharf and admire the yachts in the harbour.Further down in Barceloneta you can bask on the beach in the warm Spanish sun. Sip a cocktail in the hip and trendy Daguiri overlooking Barceloneta beach or go to Restaurante Salamanca for authentic paella. Wash off the sun and heat back at the hostel (some with ensuite bathrooms) and get ready for a night out on the town. Right in Raval is the long standing Marseille Bar which serves up absinthe complete with burning lump of sugar. The hostel's 32 rooms are equipped with heating and fans for your comfort. You'll feel right at home with a TV featuring international channels. The staff at reception are helpful and friendly and speak English, French, German and Italian.
