The brand new guesthouse Barcelona Center-Kitchen has 8 colourful rooms in the heart of the city centre, just around the corner to Las Ramblas and Plaza Catalunya the main square of Barcelona, Spain. It is within walking distance to many of Barcelona's places of interest such as the gothic Cathedral, the whimsical Palau de la Música, the city's concert hall and a World Heritage site, and Portal del Angel, the main shopping street in the centre. This area has some great restaurants including the famous Quatre Gats (4 cats) just around the corner. This charming restaurant with unusual pointed arches was a favourite of painter Picasso. They serve traditional high-end Catalan cuisine, sometimes combining seafood and meat in the same dish. There is also an excellent wine list. It café is located in a small plaza with remains of the Roman aqueduct just between Portal del Angel and the Plaza del Catedral. It's a great place for a drink, a meal and a chat in the outdoor seating. The rooms are very spacious with high ceilings and are equipped with a complete private bathroom a little kitchen, air conditioning and heating. Some of the rooms have a private sunny terrace (see specific comments in booking process). The décor is a colourful Mediterranean style and a cheerful atmosphere. Nice, clean and brand new guesthouse in the heart of the city.
