B-Hotel Barcelona

+ Shower is good. Breakfast is also ok, a bit costly but good enough. Internet connection is smooth. Staff are friendly and helpful. Location is quite good, 5 minutes walk to metro, 20 minutes' walk to city centre, and 15 minutes' walk to train station. -

+ The hotel is ideally situated and easy to find. the rooms are excellent with modern decor and are very clean. the pool at the top of the hotel is an amazing feature. breakfast was good value it is just a pity that food is limited after 11am.

+ We loved the funky vibe of this hotel that had large and modern rooms. the location was great very close to the major metro link, airport bus and the 1992 olympic grounds, which are worth taking a look at.

+ Stayed 3 nights at the b hotel, the room was spacious and well thought out although it did take us a while to work out how to use the shower!the service was first rate, they ordered a taxi for us, gave us an early morning call and we could use the free internet to print out our return flight tickets.the roof top pool would be fabulous in the summer months and the views over the area are trememdous.i would recommend this hotel to everyone. ps. get a barcelona bus ticket (20 euros for 1 day 26 euros for 2 days) and you wll see all of the famous landmarks, it runs from 9am till 9pm and you get off and on whenever you want. also a t10 metro ticket for 10 journeys on the underground. - Only thing negative was we would have liked an electric kettle in the room to have a hot drink at our convenience.

+ Rooms were clean, staff friendly and helpful, hotel close to bus routes and metro. - Could not walk to any attractions. no doors on bathroom!

It was very cool, a real experience and very professional but it lacked a little warmth. The sort of place where it is great to have visited and we will always remember its stunning building but probably once was enough.

+ A very well located hotel with great views if you get a room looking on to the place espanya or grand via.you can walk to the city centre along grand via or down to the sea along the parallel. the hotel is funky and the staff were very helpful.

+ Well designed modern room with beautiful en-suite. gorgeous infinity pool on the roof with solarium. close to metro and airport. - Only negative was the construction on the bull ring next door.

+ We enjoyed our stay at the b hotel and liked the cool design of it, especially the bathroom. the location was good for a lot of the sights we wanted to see in montjuic and the metro was also conveniently located close by to the hotel. we were also impressed by the infinity pool on the top floor. - We did notice a bad odour on our floor when you came out of the lift and in the bathroom however we were not sure if it was the type of 'cleaning products' they used, but it was a little off putting.

Unusual hotel design, interesting but on balance its a bit "cool" - not a warm inviting design. Still staff competent and hotel clean (wash basins tend to get flooded due to design). Hotel not on the main tourist area but this is a nice advantage, tube/subway is close by and easy to use. Location allows you to "meet" real local Barcaloneans, for breakfast (and dinner) use one of the many nearby cafes, all very good - with genuine tapas. Barcelona is a great city.
