The modern, eight story Aranea Hotel is located Barcelona's central Eixample district, 100 meters from Gaudi's monumental Sagrada Familia Cathedral. Tetuan metro station is 200 meters from the hotel's doorstep and from there guests can link to destinations all around the city. Two more famous Gaudi buildings, La Pedrera and Casa Batllo, as well as the Passeig de Gracia and central Placa Catalunya are all approximately one kilometer from the hotel. Barcelona Airport (BCN) is 10 kilometers from the hotel. There are train services from the airport to the city center every 30 minutes. There is also an Aerobus service to Plaça de Catalunya every 12 minutes. From Placa Catalunya, take the metro to Tetuan, which is about 200 meters from the hotel. Alternatively, the hotel has a private van that can carry up to seven people and costs 75 Euros. Email the hotel in advance with flight times to arrange pick up. A taxi from the airport to the hotel costs 25 Euros.

+ We found the hotel room very comfortable and clean,the hotel staff where pleasant and helpful! only a short walk from the centre with lots of opportunities to stop and have a coffee on the way if needed.theres a small cafe across the road where you can get a nice coffee or a glass of wine late in the evening the owners are really nice and happy to please.we enjoyed our stay at the hotel and would book again ! - The only negative i have about the hotel is not having a bar open in the evening to use before going out or on return.

hotel ist OK, but much too loud. The acoustic insulation seems so poor that we got the impression the guests next door were in the same room with us. There's no chance of having a lie-in.

The only problem i had with the hotel was that the beds were very very hard, therefore i had no sleep the 2 nights i stayed there.

Apsis Is Awesome! We were very pleased with the location, the cleanliness and the helpfulness of the staff. We were given excellent instructions on the "Hop On-Hop Off" bus system and obtained a 2 day pas at the motel along with discount tickets to a number of sights and eating establishments. The gentleman who checked us in was extremely helpful and spoke good English. I couln’t have been more pleased. Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay The sight seeing system is very well set up was easy to follow and very inclusuive. It was very helpful to be abler to access the information on the system from the hotel. we only had to walk a few blocks to the stations.

The hotel was exellent but the breakfast could been better. Hot dishes were more cold than hot. Very limited space of wardrobe for two persons. Nice and quiet area just 20 min walk to Placa Catalunya.

+ The location was good, in a residential area and it was not noisy. about 5-10 minutes from a metro station. the room size was good and we were given two twins and the bathroom was big. - The noise from the elevator box. we stayed at the top floor and the noise was enough to annoy us.
