Close to the MACBA, this new spanish owned hotel offers a fresh clean quiet place to stay for any citybreak in Barcelona. The staff are friendly and helpful. There is free internet in the lobby and there are a few shops around to buy supplies.

+ The hotel was in a good position,the room was clean and the staff were frendly and helpful. - No kettle in room.

good quality for the price, the hotel surroundings are not very nice but it is very near the city centre.

- It says there is parking on website but actually you have to pay alot of money to park "near" to hotel, was very annoyed.

+ Very modern hotel near city centre - A lot of noise from the square behind the hotel into the early hours of the morning

I have stayed in Apsis 40 during my trip to Barcelona a couple of days ago. The location of the hotel is very comfortable, the metro station is very close and the center of city (La Rambla, Pz. Catalunya etc.,) also. The surroundings near the hotel itself are less nice but for tourist that most of the day not there it’s fine. The problem is the spaciousness of rooms and the connection between the photos in the Internet site and the reality. The room that I stayed in was very different from the room on the photos. It was very little and without any additional equipment (such as kettle, glasses etc,), but on the other hand the room was very clean with air conditioner and big bathroom. The towels were changed only after we thrown them on the floor, simple request at the reception wasn’t much useful. For nice not long and not expansive stay in Barcelona – very nice, the overall mark is 6.

+ Location excellent for the ramblas - Noise! room overlooked main street,bars opposite never closed! room was allocated disabled despite booking 3 months in advance

Everythig was perfect. Very close to the Plaza Catalunya, the hotel looked perfect, the staff was very nice and ready to help, the rooms were quiet, clean, and everything looked new. We enjoyed our stay very much and we highly reccomend this hotel.
