+ Easy to locate 5 mins from la rambla. staff really friendly.

+ Slyvia was pleasant and eager to please, and the location was excellent. - The apartment we were allocated had no natural light,the windows opened upon an internal lightwell, we felt subteranean.

+ Excellent, one of the nicest places i have ever stayed at! i was expecting a clean, serviced hotel in a good location so we could explore barcelona. at this place we we're finding it hard to leave the hotel! full recommendations for this place especially if you are traveling in a group.

+ Enjoyed the apartments and locations. lovely and clean. staff very helpful and very kind. would say there again.

- Apartment location very poor. did not feel safe walking alone directly outside apartment-rough area. given a basement room! although clean, it was very basic and noisy. bathroom tiny. definately would not recommend.

+ Staff were very helpful and friendly. excellent location 2minutes walk to la rambla (if that). - Our apartment was number 1. this particular apartment was the 1st on the left, it had no windows and you could hear everybody coming in at night. although their was a sign to say no noise after 11pm we didnt find this the case.

+ Excellent location and staff extremely helpful. - Studio has no window and is also situated next to the office so if you are not an early riser you will be woken by the telephone.

- We arrived at the apartments guardia after calling the day before to confirm and calling when we were 30 mins away as requested (on train from airport), only to be told that they were overbooked! they the staff took us across town (about 5 minutes, to carrer d'avinyó) to another apartment which was very well appointed, but not quite finished (only very minor finishing required). the same thing happened to a hen party and they wanted us to share the appartment (kitchen, lounge etc) with the party?! to get to our bed room we had to walk through another (albeit unoccupied). it seems as though a very wide corridor had been converted into two bed rooms! considering we had booked a studio this was totally unnacceptable. the philino staff tried to get hold of the boss on the phone, but she wasn't answering. eventually and begrudgingly they offered us a separate apartment (which was actually joined by one of the coridor bedrooms, but could be closed off by locking the door, but we did not know this until the next day. we managed to speak to the boss the next day who explained we could have the apartment to ourselves, but refused to offer any discount for our inconvenience claiming that because the apartment we had was much larger and more luxurious this balanced out the inconvenience of the over booking and being moved to a different apartment. a bad experience altogether.

+ Comfortable apartment, excellent location in the middle of the city - Very noisy within the apartments well past 1am

+ The location - Booked 3 rooms altogether for 14 guests, on arrival had 1 studio for 2 and 1 apartment for 6, they had given away our extra room. not a very organised apartment and we were still not given all appropriate sheets and covers to go around until the night before we left.
