The cosy Apartamentos Descartes are located in what residents consider to be one of the best locations to live in Barcelona- the "Zona Alta". This is the best of both worlds- both close to the centre, but in an area which is quiet, peaceful and relaxing. Near the FGC fast metro Plaza Molina and Muntaner stops, you can be in Plaça Catalunya and Las Ramblas or at the famous Gaudi buildings on Passeig de Gracia within minutes. Plaza Molina is little plaza with several of the best cafes and bakeries to start off your day right. Just beyond is the Gràcia district, which has a bohemian, village feel with its small streets, charming bars and plaza and mom and pop shops. This area is packed with shopping, most notably shoe shops leading from Plaza Molina down Balmes to chic Diagonal.The apartments are located in a modern mirror glass building and have a reception area open from 9- 18:30. In the style of an aparthotel, the apartments are maintained impeccably with daily cleaning service. Decorated in a simple, modern style they can accommodate either 2 or 4 people. All are bathed in natural light either from the street side or from the beautiful interior garden in the courtyard. All include a full kitchen and bath with tub. A cheerful and pleasant place in a real Barcelona neighbourhood.
