Built in 1992, the Alberg Palau is a cosy family establishment in the historical and cultural centre of Barcelona, in the middle of the Gothic Quarter just behind City Hall and 10 minutes walking to the Port. Regardless of whether you come alone or in a group, you will meet people from all over the world and will be able to enjoy this exciting city at an affordable price. Take a stroll down the legendary Ramblas, drink in the sights and smells of the Old Town of this city on the Mediterranean. Don't forget to take a drink out of the fountain de Canaletas just before you reach Plaça Catalunya on the Ramblas. The showers and bathrooms are distributed by floor (they are not in the rooms). The kitchen and salon are common rooms opened during specific hours. You must use sheets or a sleeping bag. If you do not have one, there are sheets available at the hostel for rental.
