The Alberg La Ciutat is a youth hostel located close to the centre of Barcelona offering very economical prices which won’t break your bank as you visit this exciting city. Decorated with great graffiti works, the hostel is located in an old clinic which has been totally renovated. It offers 198 beds in double, triple, quadruple and dorm rooms with bunks for up to 6 people. All rooms have a WC and wash basin in the room, and the shower rooms are shared. The visitor will have a simple but comfortable room in a hostel with a friendly and young atmosphere.Included in the price of the room is breakfast. The Ciutat also has a completely furnished kitchen available to guests, a dining room complete with coffee maker and drinks, and free internet. This special lodging has been designed for young people in mind, and the owners organize excursions, concerts and parties. Another of the advantages of this hostel is its excellent location, in a quiet area in the centre but without any disadvantages. Metro Joanic is only 4 streets from the hostel which brings you right to Plaza Catalunya, the epicentre of Barcelona, in 10 minutes. There are several other public transport options, among them the Turistic Bus. Going cheap doesn’t have to mean foregoing quality!
