Stay was fine. Breakfast a bit limited and starts only from 8am during week-days. Staff is ok not more

Nice place We liked our two rooms here. The reading nightlight was handy. The lobby computer operates by coins. Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay The balcony is handy for handwashing your own laundry. There is a little grocery store if you take the first left turn out of the hotel.

Cool in the heat The maids were great - we had such varied hours but they always waited for us to vacate the room and then would be in, quick as anything and expertly clean the room. If you want a quiet room, ask for the back of the hotel.

The hotel is totally renovated and it's in a strategic position, in the middle of everything. Rooms are new and clean, in a nice modern style. People working there are very nice.

+ Hotel is very nice and only a few minutes walk to the busy city centre street La Rambla. Rooms were very modern with comfortable beds, excellent airconditioning and had best showers. Highly recommend staying here. - non smoking policy

Good looking, but looks can be deceiving This is one good looking hotel. But the overall service and staff is probably one of the worst i have ever experienced before. I’ve stayed at probably 200+ hotels in my life, so that’s saying a lot. Upon checking in, the experience was terrible. Don’t stay at this hotel if you have your own car. There is no place to stop to unload bags, and no bellman to help, and the parking lot is 2 blocks away (if you can find it). From there, it only gets worse. The receptionist was rude, didn’t offer any information but to give us our keys. We had to ask where the elevator was, what time breakfast was open, how to get internet access, and for a map of the area. From there, it even got worse. It started at 8am when the cleaning crew of 3 ladies shows up on the floor. They talk and laugh extremely loudly while they clean the rooms, and the hallways echo so forget about sleeping. We had a do-not-disturb sign on the door, but at 10am, they knocked and asked if we needed our room cleaned. Uhhh....no. At noon they knocked again and came in to the room to ask us. Uhhh...NO! But they told us that it’s either now or not until tomorrow. I would strongly recommend that everyone not stay at this hotel.

Lovely Hotel in a great location, away from all the hussle and bussle but close enough to save your legs for the site-seeing. Reception staff were extremely helpful, provided us with all the information we needed to explore and tipped us off on the good places to go. Room was lovely, spacious and clean. Breakfast was basic but everything you needed to set you off for the day. All round a great stay.

+ The Staff were very friendly and the hotel was great, local area was very nice just round the corner from the busy Ramblers but far enough away for peace and quiet.

Very pleasant and welcoming stay. Location is ideal, free of noise and crowds yet within walking distance of major attractions and transport facilities. Staff courteous and helpful and we were grateful for their fluent English.
