Good Hotel beautiful view good rooms. It's a pity that you have to pay for using the swimming pool, it should be free for the customers

Great location, out on spit with balcony view over harbour or bay. Went out of season so pretty quiet. Friendly staff, good spa, short walk to promenade and town centre. Clean room, basic bathroom.

I stayed for five nights with a friend and would recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Alicante. More suited for a sightseeing holiday rather than for someone wanting a luxury hotel-based holiday, I would say. Great location - very close to the beach, esplanade, restaurants, bars, shops. The ferry to the Balearics goes a little further along the road. It was very quiet at night so we slept well. We shared a twin-bedded room which had a sea view, was very clean, and had a good-sized bathroom with nice toiletries. Good power to the (in the bath) shower. We had the breakfast a couple of times, which was fine, nothing too special - the usual buffet selection. Not very good tea though - hot water in a flask and some dodgy teabags. Coffee was OK. The dining area is a bit like a canteen, but the view over the sea was lovely. The seating area in reception also has the same floor to ceiling glass with lovely sea view. We didn't visit the spa, so can't comment on that. We did eat one evening in the restaurant, which is quite expensive but quite elegant and the food was lovely. The reception staff were very pleasant and helpful. Couldn't fault the hotel really, especially for the price of 80 euros per night.

the hotel was well situated with a lovely view and right on the beach. the breakfast was wonderful and the staff were competent and friendly. the only thing that let this hotel down was the fact that i made my reservation on the understanding that we had access to an indoor and outdoor swimming pool. when infact we were only allowed to use the indoor pool which was small shallow and very bleachy. the outdoor pool belonged to the hotel next door. fortunately the spa porta maris was right on the beach so thats is where we went instead of the pool. if the hotel had not been on the beach however, it may well have spoiled our stay as i had a child with us. this is a hotel that would be suited to business people also as there were conference rooms and it was right near the city. the cafe was open until midnight so if u arrive at the hotel late u can get a sandwhich or lasange etc. the breakfast was very good with a wide range of food and as much as u like. if i was visiting alicante again i would probably stay here.

The best part, definitely, was hearing the sea outside the window at night. We only stayed a couple of nights, so didn't try the spa.

My husband and I went on a business trip and selected this hotel for the view. We were delighted by the service, the rooms, and are thinking on coming back on vacation. We asked for a non-smoking room but as they didn´t have one we were given a smokers with a better view which was ok with us. The best thing about this hotel are the views and that it is well located.
