This complex was renovated in 2005 and offers guests a reception desk manned around the clock, a hotel safe, a currency exchange facility, a café, a newspaper stand, a bar and Internet access (charges apply). The apartment is quietly situated along the three mile promenade overlooking one of Calpe's 3 "blue flag" beaches -ideal for children and offering a great selection of water sports in summer time. There are boat trips to Benidorm and Denia. The small local cove of Les Bassettes offers windsurfing, kayaking and catamaran sailing as well and scuba diving and instruction from English speaking staff. There is a gentle path with handrails up the first half of the Rock where there is a museum. Alicante airport is 70km (approx) from Calpe, which takes just under an hour by car. Valencia airport is 120 km (approx)about an hour and a half by car Parking is available on the road outside the apartment complex but a car is not necessary as there is a good public transport with a bus stop outside the apartment.
