Business hours of reception: 24 hours The three-star Hotel Castilla Alicante with the Quality mark Q is located in a residential area of Alicante and is only 50 metres from the beach "San Juan Playa" and only 300 metres away from the Golf course of Alicante Golf. All rooms have been recently redecorated and the majority has sea views. We offer you services such as our 3 banquet rooms and the restaurant with capacity for up to 300 people. We also have a children's play area and on request we organize excursions, tickets, cultural trips and a rental car for you. Moreover, we dispose conference and banquet rooms of different sizes. The price includes facilities such as TV, video, projector and screen. In the surrounding you will find the beaches of Postiguet Saladar, Albufereta and San Juan. The last one is without a doubt one of best in Europe, with an extension of 7 km, golden sand and clean waters. In addition to magnificent facilities for relaxation Alicante surely is one of the most wonderful tourist destinations. It is here where the tranquillity of the winter, contrasts with the lively summer.

    More parking places for cars. Minibar or a small fridge in the room. The breakfast which was included in the price was nothing!

    Hotel entrance in side street. Hotel restaurant has a limited menu and wine list, and the service from the kitchen is poor. Close to beach, other restaurants and shops.

    EXCELLENT HOTEL & LOCATION Don't be worried about using the buses, they are frequent and friendly. Take a day trip from Alicante (Mercado) train station to Benidorm. The ride is interesting and only 5 euros return. We, Craig & Ann-Marie, visited Feb 2008.

    A very nice, inexpensive hotel. Its about 10 minutes drive from the Center of Alicante, but is in the residential zone. We found it nicer to drive into the center of Alicante to eat each night, rather than look at the few restaurants that are local. I

    + The rooms in the hotel are basic but lovely and clean and the staff are really helpful and generally speak English which was a great help.

    ALICANTE'S PLEASANT SURPRISE Use the buses, if poss'. 1 or 2 Euros gets you to most places.

    The Castilla is an ideal hotel base for this part of Spain,it is situated about 150m from the beach one street back,good sized swimming pool and a well presented terrace bar area. Car park needs to be booked in advance as car parking is limited and you could find the on street parking full. Good bus service to Alicante at 50m from the hotel and at 8euro good value,this runs daily until 23:30 each evening. Overall an excellent base.
