Holiday Inn Alicante Playa De San Juan

The hotel is very close to the beach but walking there is down hill but the return up hill is a little tiresome especially with children and handfulls of beach equipment. Also the location of the lifts in the hotel to the higher floors is a little strange with quite a treck from the reception required. Otherwise an good hotel for a weekend break at the beach.

The hotel itself was very clean. The resort of San Juan itself was very very quiet, not many local restaurants or bars within walking distance. Thankfully, there was a very efficient bus service (no21) which ran every 15 minutes into Alicante town, this departed from right outside the hotel, without this, we feel the weekend would have been awful, as the resort didn't offer much to do. The hotel staff were efficient, although, there was a language problem, not many english speaking staff.

I was pleseantly surprised to get such a low rate for a 4 star hotel so close to the beach. Nice hotel, nice staff but pay per view wasn't working nor was the internet when I stayed there

We enjoyed staying there - we had gone to stay at Playa San Juan to meet for a day our old friends from England, who had chosen to stay at a far more expensive hotel in that area. We had absolutely NO complaints whatsoever - very courteous and helpful staff.

+ Good only the bed is old and no television rtl 4 of holland only cnn englisch.the koffie is not good whit the breakfast. - The restaurant didn't offer a very good variety of food, but there were many restaurnats about a 10 minute walk away.

+ Excellent resterurent - Wi-fi not working properly. I chose this hotel because of that and final result was a complete disaster.
