What a hotel! I booked this hotel for myself and my girlfriend because of its location near Porto Airport. Our return flight was quite early the next day and after a long drive up from Lisbon, I wanted to avoid the hassle of getting out of the city centre with my hire car. The hotel completely blew me away in every regard. The room was spotless, large, well equipped, tasteful, comfortable and, as advertised, completely soundproofed. I have never had such a good night's sleep in an unfamiliar bed. Location-wise, you may find the only drawback with the hotel. Positioned right next to Boa Vista's Estadio Bessa, it is by no means in the city centre, but transport links are excellent (10 mins drive to the airport, Metro station very nearby), and it is impossible to find a hotel like this in central Porto, let alone for €65. One particularly nice touch was a personal welcome on the bedroom's wall-mounted flatscreen TV! I would thoroughly recommend this hotel for anyone who values quality and luxury over a central location. If you want to be right in the heart of the city, this is not the hotel for you. If, however, your priority is to get a good night's rest, or you want to be near the airport, or you are simply content to be a short metro-ride from Porto town centre, then I doubt there is a better hotel in the city.

Very good location for business trip. Good and cosy restaurant. Only problem that miss some TV channels.

A very nice surprise - BESSA Hotel is just excellent ! Room very pleasant, nicely decorated, "American style" bed (including many pillows!. Breakfast buffet super - it's got everything and was constantly filled up. Room service was fast, very good and not overpriced (like many other hotels do it). Nice sitting area for dining in the room.
