The colourful 'The Times Hotel' is situated at the embankment of the beautiful Herengracht in Amsterdam. These, from 1650 dated monumental premises, have recently been renovated in such a way that the characteristics in bygone days have been well preserved. Our 33 rooms are comfortable and colourfully furnished. All the rooms are foreseen with a double bed or twin-beds, toilet, shower and/or bath, telephone, ADSL connection, safe, air conditioning and LCD television. The Herengracht lies in the centre of Amsterdam and gives you the possibility to visit within reach the Rijksmuseum, the Van Gogh museum, Concert Hall or one of the enjoyable Amsterdam’s shopping streets. The Anne Frank House, the Wester Tower and the Palace on the Dam are even within walking distance. + The initial room had a broken blind (could not be opened) and a broken lamp, but the room was just swaped without any fuss. nice advice on restaurants.

+ I really appreciated how quiet and clean it was. i loved the bathroom and the bed was fantastic!! - I really wasn't happy that there was only one english channel on the television. also, there seemed to be a problem with the telephone system at the time of my stay and made it a little frustrating to call out long distance.

+ The staff were really helpful and friendly no matter what time of the day or night. nice tidy rooms and location was great, close enough to dam square but far enough away from the noise. - The people next door were loud very early in the morning, more the fact of inconsiderate guests than the hotels problem
