Great hotel, everything you need The hotel was very good and suited our purposes. We were just two young American tourists in Amsterdam for a weekend. It’s in a quiet location but still close to all the attractions. The red light district is about a 5-10 minute walk away. The museum area is about 15 minutes away. The hotel front desk was courteous and efficient. Our standard room was clean and a nice size for a European hotel. They gave us bathrobes and slippers. The bathroom floor was also heated. There was free internet in the lobby. Everything was satisfactory! I would definitely recommend this hotel. We didn’t order room service or eat at the restaurant, but they all looked good too! Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks There’s a pancake place near the hotel called Pannekoeken Upstairs. It’s a tiny, blink-and-you’ll-miss-it restaurant with only about 5 tables. All they serve are pancakes with various toppings. It’s delicious and you must try it!

Central location, friendly and helpful staff. Good food. Room was a little worse for wear than I expected for a hotel in this class. Ventilation system was also on the noisy side. No place to sit down over coffee, except for bar that opens a bit late.

Excellent hotel with a good location. Although the red light district is within 5 mins walk, we feel very safe at the hotel and the surrounding area. Easy access to restaurants. About 15 mins walk to the Central Train Station (Taxi - Euro$10). Received a call from the Front Desk Manager one evening during my stay to check if everything is ok - very impressed with their hospitality and committment on customer satisfaction. Fuss free check-in, also had no problem when I requested for late check out at 3 p.m. Professional and helpful concierges - we booked the day tours and airport shuttle bus through them. There is also a counter where we can check our flights - friendly staff who volunteered to check for our connecting flights from Zurich. Room is very comfortable with ironing facilities, hot kettle, a set of bathrobe and slippers, extra pillow and shampoo/bath gel are packaged interestingly in small cups . We asked for a King size bed but was given 2 Twin size beds. Free access to the wireless internet. Requested for wine opener which was delivered to our room within 5 mins. The breakfast spread is ok (but very very crowded) and special mention to the fresh orange juice machine. Overall very happy with Radisson Amsterdam and will definately stay here again.

a nice stay The Radison SAS Amsterdam Centre was a wonderful hotel, very clean and had a wonderful resturant and very fast delicious room service. For the most part the staff was very friendly and accomidating, although there was one man there who was constantly rude to us. It’s a bit of a high end hotel so I don’t know if I’d recomend it to other people my age (20’s) as it is mostly business travelers. None the less it was a very comfortable and fancy place to stay, I would definitly go back. Traveler's tip on dining There was an AMAZING thai food place right up the street called "butterfly thai cafe" the service and food were incredible and the price was moderate but low for the quality of food and service you get, comfortable and trendy atmospher as well!

A very well-located hotel. The staff were very helpful. There was some confusion over my reservation and the receptionist handled it with absolute professionalism. I couldn't think of a single reason NOT to stay in this hotel the next time I visit Amsterdam.

Stayed 2 nights at the hotel, I got an internal view room with restrictions on late checkout (They did not allow extra 2 hours for checkout, is it because of the special price for asiarooms?). I got excellent price from asiarooms.com (almost half of the published price for B&B). I liked their seafood (salmon) dish at the hotel restaurant. Hotel staff are friendly and helpful. Thank you asiarooms for the lowest price.
