Nieuw Slotania Hotel Amsterdam

This is a hotel. Do not expect to make many new friends, but you will have a comfortable nights sleep and a solid breakfast. There is no kitchen but guests can use the super-powerful microwave. Internet was free. Its a long way from the centre, about 20mins on a tram.

"Okay" hotel for the rate price cleaning was bad if ther was cleaning?? location is about 20min from the central city and the hood around was not best people was hanging on the street and drinking

Wed idnt spent much time in the hostel, but we had a great breakfast included and the price was absolute good.

+ The staff on the desk were friendly and helpful. public transport is excellent, making the distance to the centre acceptable. the breakfast was meagre but adequate. - We had a quad room for three adults and a child. even with a bunk bed, it was ridiculously small. the furnishings were old and beat up, the bathroom was inadequate, but worst of all, it was dirty.

Triple room was REALLY REALLY small. Three single beds pushed together and no room to move. No airconditioning in rooms and it made it very uncomfortable. Clean hotel.

Everything was disgusting. I am not a negative person but the sheets were gross, the beds were old and needed to be moved away from the walls so as to avoid the mold growing by the pillows. Their was more, but this should be enough.

+ I would reccomend this hotel rooms were clean reception staff helpful and ample breakfast

+ Price - Very noisy, more like a youth hostel. shower didn't work.

Staff are not helpful and attitude is appalling! We paid bu twe did not get want we want Very disappointing when it comes to the room, its alright if we are in different section or floors as long the quality of the room is almost the same as the other room (vice versa) but it was not. And as we approached the staff, " they cannot do anything about it" and the way their responsed is not in a good manner! The breakfast though its a hotel complement or what is just the same all through out our journey. Bed is not in good condition or not even level, you can even feel the spring inside digging in. Attitude must be look into, Costumer satisfaction!!!
