+ Really nice big room, great location - right in the middle of town with shops, coffeeshops, bars, clubs, dam square etc nearby, friendly helpful staff - Bathroom smelled of sewage - foul! i think from the canals beneath. also could've done with a safe in the room

+ This was our first stay at the nh city centre and i would recommend it and stay there again. reception staff were very friendly and the free sweets and fruit was a nice touch. the room was as expected, was cleaned daily to a good standard and was comfortable - nice big shower too! in summary, a very pleasant stay in a great location.

I rely on these comments so while not overawed by this hotel feel I should write something! It's one of those "OK Hotels" that doesn't say anything to you, but is also quite adequate. Bathroom smelt and door to balcony was broken. Restaurant is dark with poor decorations. Staff were all very friendly & helpful

Great location, the hotel looked like a uni hall of residence. Very clean room, the rooms are a little tired looking and no mini bar in room 110 anyway.

Location is quite good and even if hotel is in the center it was not noisy at all. Rooms are quite small. It was not possible to open the cupboard due to limited space.

+ Clean room, good location, very quiet - Staff gave out 2 of our pre-booked rooms to other customers and then refused to offer us other rooms. 1 of our party was forced to find another hotel (at 10.30pm) and two others had to share rooms with other members of our party. i booked a room to myself and was forced to share which was a major inconvenience. also i booked 4 rooms but on arriving they had the booking down as 2 rooms for 4 people in each! this lead to more of our party being relocated.

+ The first room allocated was small so staff showed 2 more rooms and were understanding of our reluctance to accept first room. - This hotel is rather basic, hence why 3-star - so after first night we moved to the 5 star nh in leidsplein which has far better facilities.
